Everything went great during the sales phase. No aggressive & pushy sales, but a friendly and professional approach.The construction phase has completely wrecked our nerves. After signing the contract (2020/08), we waited for 1 year and 1 month (out of which building permission took 6 months) to receive the house frame.The frame was assembled quite fast, but the first floor concrete was cast only two months later (2021/11). It seemed like nothing was happening.The project manager told us to order the parquet flooring so that it would be delivered mid-December 2021. That's what we did. Now it's July 2022 and the parquet installer was supposed to come today, but *surprisingly* did not.In December the project manager said we'd be able to move in in March/April 2022. In May 2022 we insisted for a schedule with set dates for remaining works. Almost none of the deadlines have been met. At the moment there's a single builder who comes in the morning (or doesn't), and goes home (or to another site) at 14:00-15:00.When the PM gets confronted about the constant delays, the fault is always someone else's, never his. We haven't heard a single apology from the PM.We couldn't trust Somu Māja, so we hired a building inspector to inspect everything they do. So far there have been a lot of mistakes and violations of the building code, so hiring an inspector clearly has been money well spent.In conclusion, we can't complain about the quality of the house frame, but we have tons of complaints about other issues. We found out this PM is managing 18 projects simultaneously, and it very much seems like someone with better connections is getting all the builders and their time.We don't recommend Somu Māja.
